Community Recognition
OPRF Community Foundation- Future Philanthropists Program Grant
The Future Philanthropist Program provides high school students with the opportunity to learn how to be philanthropists and grantmakers. The Program is funded by the Future Philanthropist Fund of the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation. Each year the Juniors award $25,000 in grant money. In 2018 the Guild Kids Program was awarded $3500 to be applied during the 2018-2019 season. Guild Kids will be doing projects to benefit Housing Forward, Hephzibah, and the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.

OPRF Community Foundation-Excellence in Philanthropy
Every year the OPRF Community Foundation honors those who demonstrate significant philanthropic impact in Oak Park-River Forest. Each of the recipients of these awards has been inspired to be philanthropic and their generosity supports the well-being and sustainability of Oak Park and River Forest, just as the Community Foundation does. In 2017, The OPWG was the recipient of the Outstanding Business or Group which included a $1000 grant split between Hephzibah and New Moms.

Cook County Board of Commissioners Resolution
In March of 2018, during Women's History Month, we were recognized by the Cook County Board of Commissioners. A resolution was drafted to recognize our organization's diligent work and charitable efforts to uplift the community.

ProBono Network Gavels & Growlers Award
In 2016 we were the recipients of the ProBono Network's first annual Gavels & Growlers award. We were recognized for the work we do in the community and especially for the project we did to furnish and organize their office space.
